Happy New Year… and New Single

Firstly, I’d like to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year. Let’s hope it’s a great one!

And to get the year rolling I’m releasing a new single out on January 29th, called ‘Should I Stay?’

I wrote the song with my good friend, Casey Abrams (American Idol), during Casey’s visit to the UK in the spring of 2016.

It was then recorded in LA and produced by Bleu (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert…). Casey provides backing vocals and ‘chanting’ on the song, which also features Joe Seiders (New Pornographers, Beat Club) playing keyboards and drums

It’s already been selected to be the Record of the Day by the prestigious taste-making ROTD team – so pretty happy with that!

The single will be preceded by a new video we filmed in London just before Christmas. Corry Raymond and John Pickard directed it and it’s pretty emotional! I’m very proud of the song and video so please have a listen and take a look ☺

Lots more music and news coming soon so please check back!

Love Sweden! +

So I got back from Sweden at the beginning of November where I’d been writing with some amazing guys – and it goes so well that I’m off again in a few days for more sessions! Stockholm is an amazing city and I have so many great friends there now!

In other news I was really happy with the reception to my last single and video, ‘Ready or Not’ which was made Soundout’s track of the day which was pretty cool.

And I’m back off to Stockholm mid-December to write more songs. So happy when I get to work over there, it’s magical!

New Single + The News

I was thrilled with the reaction to my last single, ‘Do You Love Me (Yet)’. Aside from being Record of the Day here in the UK it got quite a bit of radio play out there and feedback to the video was amazing! Over 40k views and still getting plays!!

And it’s time for the follow-up so I’m releasing my new single, ‘Ready or Not’ on October 30th, 2015 through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc. It’s a song that I co-wrote and recorded in my home studio with my good friends from Stockholm, Marcus and Hjalmar, just a few months ago. The video was all shot in my home too! Anyway, it’s a bit different in that it’s pop rock with a bit of funk too…

The video for the single will be out on October 26th. It’s a fun homage to my film adventure heroes. We had a lot of fun shooting it and thanks to all my friends that helped out and to Ross Dixon who directed it.

I’m keeping pretty busy with lots of writing sessions in London for a new project, which I hope to tell you more about soon. And there’ll be another single out early in the New Year when I’ll be doing shows too! Please keep checking back for ‘new’ news ☺
